Digital Audit Overview
AcuLog offers two Digital Logbook Auditing services designed to give you confidence in the accuracy and presentation of your electronic flight records. Whether you’re preparing for a major career milestone or simply want reassurance that your logbook is accurate and professional, our team tailors to your needs.
Important: AcuLog does not provide stand-alone paper logbook audits. We also do not use original paper logbooks to compare against existing digital records for the purpose of checking transcription errors made by another party. Paper logbook audits are only available when included with our transcription services.
Comprehensive Digital Audit
Our Comprehensive Digital Audit is a detailed review of your electronic logbook—perfect for pilots preparing for check rides, interviews, or career transitions.
One of our experienced team members will carefully review your digital logbook reports to identify (and notate directly on your report) any potential errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies that could raise questions. We verify totals, cross-check flight time categories, and ensure alignment with FAA logging requirements. You’ll also receive feedback on formatting, layout, and presentation to make your logbook clear, consistent, and professional.
Even if you’re not preparing for a specific event, a comprehensive audit offers peace of mind. Many pilots are surprised by the small errors and irregularities that can build up over time.
Pre-Interview QuickCheck
Our QuickCheck service provides a fast, focused overview of your digital logbook before an interview or job application. We take approximately 30 minutes to review your digital logbook report to identify potential red flags, missing data, or inconsistencies that might draw attention during an interview—without performing a detailed audit.
We don’t mark up your logbook reports; however, we’ll provide professional feedback by email, pointing out any key issues we see so you can make quick corrections before submitting or printing your records.
It’s the perfect option for pilots who want rapid feedback and don't need a full deep dive into their logbook.
Note: If enough errors are found and you decide to upgrade to the full comprehensive audit, 50% of your QuickCheck cost will be applied as a credit toward the comprehensive audit.
Need Help Making Changes?
If you’d like one-on-one assistance updating your digital logbook after one of our reviews, AcuLog offers hourly
Professional Services. Our team can meet with you by phone, email, or Zoom to log in and assist with applying corrections directly. This option is ideal for pilots who are short on time or would rather have us handle the updates. Every change is discussed and
must be approved by the pilot before any edits are made to their digital logbook.

Upon engagement of a service that includes auditing, AcuLog conducts a thorough review to help identify and notify the customer of any potential discrepancies or errors. However, AcuLog does not and cannot provide an official guarantee that the audited file will be 100% free of errors or omissions.
The customer (Pilot) retains full responsibility for reviewing their personal flight records, along with AcuLog’s findings, and independently determining whether to make any adjustments to flight data. Any modifications made are at the sole discretion of the pilot and should be in accordance with any applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM) standards.
